I just finished watching A walk To Remember and i saw the the sentence that said “in loving memory of Danielle Sparks And Jimmy Everest”. And i ask is the movie based on a true story?
Nicholas Sparks is the author of the novel that the movie was based on. The inspiration for the main character was his sister, Danielle, who died of cancer in 2000.
James “Jimmy” Everest died of bone cancer in 1992 at the age of 17. The Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Children was created in memorial.

I first watched A Walk to Remember three years ago. Since then, I have not stopped rewatching it. Surprising thing is that I never get bored with it. A friend of mine, a very hard guy, shed tears after watching the movie. I bet on it, and won some money.
