How much weight would I lose a week eating 300 calories a day? I would be lifting weights for about an hour a day, but other than that I wouldn’t really be exercising. Also, how much weight COULD I lose in 3 months?

You need a minimum of 500 calories a day or else your body will be stuck in starvation mode. I myself have done this for six months and lost a 100 lbs, I was very happy with the weight loss but every other aspect in my life suffered everyone told me I looked sick, I was lifeless, depressed, and often fainted at work and school. I was a very outgoing person until I did this and then I feel I went into a state of psychosis. But if your not worried about the aftermath then heres how I looked at it, 3000 calories is roughly one pound of fat. I googled a daily calorie burner to see how much calories I used a day and it said I burned around 3000, on top of all that I decided to work out for at least an hour a day and I ran 5 miles every other night and ran 3 on the easy nights. The weight came off very fast I was losing 4 to 10 lbs a week. But heres the down side, when I started eating normal my body was still in starvation mode so any fats or sugars I ate went straight back to body weight and I gained 40 lbs in a month eating way less then i had before so I starved myself again this time armed with the knowledge of only eating vegetables for two weeks straight just to get my metabolism running normal. Two years later I am down 90lbs from my original weight I eat healthy and with work I am easily walking fourteen miles a day( I used a step counter) I jog to work often and occasionally pass on sweets. My brain I feel is still recovering from the harm I have done but I am now happy and have lots of energy. SO say you want to lose 30lbs I dont know how much u want to lose but its an example, 30lbs= roughly 90,000 calories, If you burn 2500 calories a day then that is dept. of 1000 after only taking in 500, 1000 calories times 90 days = 90,000 calories of 30lbs of fat. I hope this helps, good luck on your weight loss goals!!!

Source(s): My own dieting.

My cousin lost 40 lbs. in 3 months eating 300 calories a day and working out at night (this was in 2015) and I know a few other people that also have done this 300 calories a day diet as well and have had no problem keeping the weight off either!

I recently started eating less than 300 calories a day, (rarely going past 250 calories) and have been losing at least 1lb a day plus I jump rope for 20 mins at least twice a day and I don’t eat pass 2pm. I don’t like exercising especially when I don’t see fast results, but with jump roping you actually burn more calories than you would running.

This has been the only thing that has proven to be working for me, I wouldn’t say I recommend it because not everyone can handle it plus eating less than 500 calories a day isn’t healthy but I let people know it’s an option worth trying just like any other diet out there.

Instead of lifting weights everyday, try jogging or walking. And eating 300 calories a day… Youll probably gain it all back. But really it depends on how much you way now. Ive lost 7 pounds in 2 days. Also dont eat before yiu jo to bed! That helps a lot. Seriously tgough, why dont you take your weight times 10 minus 500. And eat that many calories. Itll be more effective. Btw you will get weaker, have much lower energy levels. Calories are energy, no enwrgy no life. Up to you tho. Good luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I’ve lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I’m just concerned that I’m losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven’t followed the guide exactly. I’m not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I’d followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I’d lose. So thanks again for the information. I’ve never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Quite a lot because women need around 2000 calories a day I think, plus your exercising. If you wan’t to lose weight fast its a good but extremely unhealthy plan.

What are some possible side effects of eating so few calories?

There are a few potential side effects of eating so few calories each day. One is that you may not get enough nutrients if you’re not eating a variety of foods. This can lead to feeling tired, weak, and sick. Another possibility is that you could experience hair loss, as your body may not have the nutrients it needs to support healthy hair growth. Finally, you may also have trouble concentrating and focusing, as your brain may not be getting the energy it needs from food.

Of course, everyone is different and will respond to a low-calorie diet in different ways. Is it possible to lose weight without exercise?

There is no set answer to this question since everyone’s body is different. However, it is generally accepted that exercising regularly is the best way to lose weight. Exercising not only burns calories, but it also helps to build muscle. Muscle tissue burns more calories than fat tissue, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn even when you are at rest.

That being said, it is possible to lose weight without exercise. This usually happens when someone significantly reduces their calorie intake. For example, if someone who normally eats 2,000 calories per day cuts their intake down to 1,500 calories per day, they will likely lose weight. How much weight they will lose depends on various factors such as their age, gender, and how active they are. Generally speaking, people can expect to lose about 1-2 pounds per week by reducing their calorie intake.
