J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series has captivated readers for over a decade now, and one of the most popular characters in that series is undoubtedly Severus Snape. While many readers are still left wondering what really happened between Snape and Dumbledore, a new fan theory suggests that Snape killed Dumbledore because he was gay.
On harry potter & the half blood prince why did he kill dumbledore it shocked me when he did cuz he was a teacher at that school he got along with dumbledore so why did he kill him?
Dumbledore ordered Snape to do it because he knew what would happen. He knew that snape would become very close to Voldemort because of it and he could spy on him for the good guys.
Dumbledore had put on a ring that was one of Voldemorts horcruxes. His hand was badly “burned” and it was going to kill him. Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him because
1. Dumbledore was going to die anyways.
2. Snape could convince the Death Eaters and Voldemort that he was on their side.
Duh dumbledore was going to get murdered anyway and so to gain the trust of Voldemort’s henchman, snape killed him and also save the little mean blonde kid(forgot his name) from making an error that would make him turn to the dark side forever.
Snape’s Motives: Revenge, Honor, and Loyalty
When it comes to Snape’s motives for killing Dumbledore, it is hard to say for sure what was going through his mind. Some might say that he was motivated by revenge, as Dumbledore had wronged him many times. Others might say that he was motivated by honor, as he felt that he had been falsely accused of betraying the school and its secrets. And yet others might think that he was primarily motivated by loyalty to the Death Eaters and Voldemort, who had entrusted him with important tasks. It is likely that there were a variety of factors behind Snape’s decision to kill Dumbledore, and it is impossible to know for sure which one was most important to him.
The Drama of the Harry Potter Series
There is no one answer to this question, as the motivations behind Snape’s actions throughout the Harry Potter series are complex and multifaceted. However, several key factors may help to explain his transformation from loyal friend and teacher to murderous villain.
First and foremost, Snape’s hatred of Dumbledore was clearly rooted in a deep personal animosity. The headmaster routinely humiliated and mistreated him, often disregarding his advice and withholding recognition that he truly deserved. As a result, Snape developed a bitter contempt for Dumbledore and everything he represented. This anger was further stoked by the fact that Dumbledore always seemed to know what was best for him, while Snape was constantly left feeling out of place and alone.
Second, Snape’s position as a potions master gave him direct access to young students, who often looked to him for guidance and support. In many cases, he used his position to exploit these students, telling them what they wanted to hear in order to gain their trust. Once he had them under his control, it was easy for him to manipulate them into doing his bidding or inflicting harm on others.
Finally, it must be noted that Snape’s motives were not entirely selfish.
Dumbledore’s Death
It is widely accepted that Lord Voldemort killed Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in 1998. Some believe that Snape was behind the death, while others believe that Dumbledore’s own negligence led to his death. It is still a matter of debate, but one thing is for sure: Dumbledore’s death changed the course of history.
The Characteristics of a Good Killer
As we are talking about the most famous series Harry Potter, how can we leave this topic aside, One of the most important things to know about any killer is what makes them tick. Understanding why someone murders can help investigators piece together clues to the crime and identify potential victims. So, let’s take a look at some key characteristics of a good killer.
First and foremost, the killer must be calm and collected under pressure. They need to have complete control over their emotions in order to carry out their plan without hesitation or fear of consequences. Additionally, they must be intelligent and have planned out their attack meticulously – making sure not to leave any evidence that could incriminate them. Lastly, they must be ruthless – devoid of any remorse or empathy for their victim(s).
Conclusion
It is unknown why Snape killed Albus Dumbledore, but it is clear that the two were not exactly friends. The reasons for their falling out are unknown, but it seemed to stem from a disagreement on how best to defeat the Boy Who Lived. It’s possible that Snape was jealous of Dumbledore’s close relationship with Harry Potter, or perhaps he simply believed that he was better equipped than anyone else to lead wizardkind into a new era. Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure: tragedy ensued when Dumbledore met his death at the hands of Snape.
