If so, many have some questions for her. She seems new and shallow in her knowledge so it would be interesting to see what she says.

I am with you in that I prefer a man to lead the church. I am on the fence (as I’ve never really searched it out) about what God thinks. I just know that I prefer it when a man is the pastor because I do feel that men are to be the leaders in the body of Christ. I know there are many women fully capable of doing the job, but I don’t feel it is their role. I don’t think God’s direction for man to be the head has anything to do with qualification or one being better than the other. In my church, the pastor’s wife will often teach / preach to the congregation, but the way that was explained was that her husband “covered” her to do so. She was teaching under his spiritual covering, so that was ok. I have also been taught that Paul was speaking to a specific audience, a people with uneducated women who were seated away from their husbands and calling out across the room with their questions. who knows? I’m no expert.
