Army Folks: What does “Range Walk” mean?

I heard it in that Army ranger video game.

A ‘range walk’ is walking as rapidly as you can without breaking into a run. This is used as a safety measure on live-fire ranges where you need to move the soldiers rapidly but do not want the weapons swinging around.

Walk briskly (as fast as possible without running).

between moving like pond water and a double time. it is most like speed walking.

walk with a purpose but dont run.
