does that mean they ignored your call or their phone is off?

it means they ignored your call, or the phone is off, or they don’t have service.

It is the basic voicemail system. They may 1) be outside of their coverage area, 2) have choose ignore for your call, 3) they could have their phone powered off (if it rings before you get that message, their phone is on) 3) they could be away from their phone…or they just let it ring until it gets to the voicemail.

When it is Nextel if it rings first (about 4 times) then goes to voice mail they missed the call. If you call and it goes straight to voice mail the phone is off or without a signal.

Your Call Has Been Forwarded

Is the call usually fowarded to their message center after a certain number of calls? …If so, it means they have “ring control” – a feature that allows you to choose how many times you want your phone to ring before the caller is forwarded to the message centre.

Answer 6

if it goes straight to that it means that their phone is off. if it rings for a long time and then goes to that it means that they just missed the call as in didnt pick up the phone in time. they might have ignored your call but thats personally…

Answer 7

Either One. If it rings at all they more than likely ignored your call. If it does not ring at all the phone is probably off.

What is an Automatic Voice Message System?

An automatic voice message system is a service that allows businesses to record and store voice messages for their customers. These messages are typically used to provide customer support, notify customers about product changes, or apologize for delays in service.

Some common features of automatic voice message systems are the ability to set up timed messages, voicemail notifications, and recordings that can be sent to multiple recipients. Some systems also allow users to reply to messages directly from the system.

Overall, automatic voice message systems are a valuable tool for businesses to use in order to keep their customers informed and satisfied. By recording and storing messages, businesses can avoid having to remember specific details about individual conversations and can quickly provide support or apologize for delays.

Why Are My Calls Forwarded to an Automatic Voice Message System?

When you call someone and it says ” your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system,” it may be because you have a blocked number. Blocked numbers are numbers that are assigned to people who have violated the terms of their telephone service. When you block a number, it prevents that number from receiving calls from your phone.

How to Fix the Problem If My Calls Are Forwarded to an Automatic Voice Message System

If you’re experiencing issues with your calls being automatically forwarded to an automatic voice message system, there are a few things you can do in order to solve the problem.

One option is to try calling the number again from a different phone. If you’re using a landline and the number you’re trying to call is cell-based, make sure you’re dialing the correct number for your region. If you’re still having difficulty getting through, consider doing a search for “how to change automatic voice message settings on my phone” or “auto answering machine customer service number”.

Another option is to reset your phone’s voicemail box. To do this, go to your phone’s main menu, select Settings -> Voicemail Box -> Automatically Restore and Reset -> Reset Voicemail Box. This will erase all of your voicemail messages and settings, which may help you get through if your phone is forwarding calls automatically.

If none of these solutions work, it’s possible that your service provider is responsible for forwarding your calls automatically. In this case, you’ll need to contact them and ask them to stop doing so.

Conclusion

If you’re ever receiving a call and it says your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system, don’t be discouraged. This usually means that the person on the other end of the line is too busy or unavailable to take your call right now, but they will get back to you as soon as possible. Tap into your patience and remember that these people are just human after all!
