It’s the pose that you do the most often or that you’re known for.
Like Miley Cyrus does that stupid peace sign, that’s her signature pose.

Signature pose is a certain model’s pose that they are known for. For example, putting their hands on their hips and rounding out their back, or Tyra Bank’s over-the-shoulder look. It’s like a signature walk in which the model has a certain stomp to the walk or a softness to the walk on the runway. A signature pose is a pose that you may see and go “Oh, that’s a Twiggy (or whoever else) pose”

Pose Definition

like, a pose someone (most likely model) is known/famous for doing.

My mouth and attitude. And that is not always a good thing, but I have this tendency to speak up and out often. I cannot stand injustice and my mother used to tell me “With you, what comes up, comes out.” She was right. Age has mellowed me a bit. I no longer do the stupid things I did when I was younger. But I still speak out. A case in point when younger: My friend worked in a convenience store and I stopped in to see her and grab a Pepsi. As luck would have it, while I was at the register, a teen pulled a gun and stuck it in her face. The safe was on a timer, she could not open it. I told him this since she could not speak at that point. I also offered to help him try and carry the darn thing out. I mean…he had the gun. Then he turned the gun on me and I got mad. Ignorance Yes…but I probably did the most stupid thing anyone has ever done. This was back in the day when the guns had a larger “hole” and my finger fit in it nicely. (giving my age away here)… I stuck my finger in the barrel and said: DID YOU KNOW A BULLET NEEDS A RUNNING START…PULL THE TRIGGER, I MIGHT LOSE MY ARM BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BLOW UP! I would not do that now, and was very lucky the kid thought I was crazy … (yes I said thought) … and he ran. Who knows…maybe he thought the bullet did need a running start? Bottom line: I am the person some of my friends say they would WANT to have with them in an emergency and the other group (split in half) will say they will run if danger approaches and I am there. Actually, as I have mellowed with age, most of my friends say they want me there in these situations as I have learned to keep a cool head. I just want to see the best ending in any situation and work to that end. But…I no longer stick my finger in the barrel of a gun… for one thing, the hole is smaller and my finger is fatter. And mostly…that is probably the second most stupid thing I have ever done. I will not discuss the first.

Some popular signature poses are downward dog, child’s pose, cat/cow, side plank and warrior 2.
