This font was identified as Crillee Bold Italic LET (Letraset) last year on the “What the Font” forums on the website “My Fonts”. Although the case is still marked as unsolved, I really think this is the font that was used (albeit slightly modified by changing the square dot over the “i” to a triangular shape) for Doritos.
