What is the exact middle day of the year?

What day of the year is exactly in the middle! I need to know so I can win a bet.

July 2ND is the middle day of a non-leap year, because there are 182 days before and 182 days after (median of the year). It falls on the same day of the week as New Year’s Day (on non-leap years).

July 2; only if it isn’t a leap year. There are 182 days before it and 182 days after it.

If it’s a leap year, then it’s July 1st.
