Will Ferrell resemblance to Wayne Rogers (MASH)?

Will Ferrell (Land Of The Lost) : Everytime I see him I find I am always recalling Wayne Rogers “Trapper John” of MASH – Does anyone else see some similarity, facial expressions or resemblance? Is there any family connection here or just simply a coincidence?

I have always thought that. If they were to do a new version of M*A*S*H, I always believed that Will Ferrell would be a good Trapper, or if they did a TV movie about the TV show M*A*S*H, he would be good at it.

Humm I’m a huge MASH fan and I’v never notice that. I always wondered if Will Ferrell was somehow related to Mike Farrell but I guess you just answered that question. I’ll have to pay more attention next time I watch MASH and see.

Oh, sure, there’s a resemblance. I see it, too. However, if you saw him last night on “The Daily Show” you’ll notice he’s gotten a new look going. Darker hair, thinner face… I’m not sure what’s going on around the eyes… just a different look for him.
