What is the next value? 4 D 7 G 10 J 13?

People Reviews

4 D 7 G 10 J 13 ,
Divide into two parts : 4 , 7 , 10 , 13 and D , G , J .
now we observe commonality in both parts ; in number series we find each numbers are followed by 3 and in alphabetical sequence in alphabets are linked with 3 steps , like D to G is followed by 3 next alphabet which is G , followed by G to J by next 3 alphabet J .
Thus 4 + 3 = 7 ,
7+3 = 10 ,
10 + 3 = 13 ,
so 13 +3 = 16

The series is made up of numbers and alphabets arranged alternately.
The number is increased by 3 every time- 4, 7, 10, 13. The next term has to be 16.
The alphabets arranged skipping two letters every time – D, G, J, The next one has to be M.
The next in the series is M.

Numbers go up by 3 each time, and every letter is represented by the number to it’s left.

I.E. the number to the left of D is 4, D is the 4th letter of the alphabet. That’s it. So what’s the 13th letter of the alphabet?

Combine each letter with it’s preceding number. Then we have series 4D,7G,10J,13M,
16P,19S,22V,25Y. Obviously, in each term, the number indicates the position of the following letter in the alphabet. Next value is M.

m

the letter sequence is every 3rd letter, so the last letter would be m, (the 3rd letter after j)

the next number would be 16, ’cause each number goes up by 3

Answer 6

Introduction

The next value in the sequence is 16.

The next value in the sequence

There are a few ways to figure out the next value in the sequence. One way is to look at the pattern that the values are following. In this case, the values are increasing by three each time. So, the next value would be three more than the previous one. That would put it at J.

Another way to figure out the next value is to use a method called counting by threes. To do this, you start at the first value and count up by threes until you reach the last value. So, starting at D, you would count up D, G, J. The next number after J would be 10, which is M in the alphabet. Therefore, the next value in the sequence is M.

Reasons for the pattern

There is a pattern to the letters in this sequence: D, G, J. The next letter in the sequence would be M. This is because the letters are moving up two steps on the musical scale. The scale goes like this: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. So, if you start on D and move up two steps, you get to F. Then, if you move up two steps from there, you get to A. And finally, if you move up two steps from there, you get to C. So the next value in this sequence is M.
