Went and bought a ring the other day and noticed imprinted on inside .925 FC. I know .925 is still considered sterling silver. My question is what does the FC means? Grateful for any help.
It stands for “fiber coating.” It’s a cheaper way to plate it than what they usually use, but it is still sterling silver.
