They claim to be accredited by Accrediting Commission International which is a non governmental accrediting agency. Any one ever went to any community colleges with this diploma if so what college? Trying to get into a community college near Raleigh NC.

It’s not accredited or accepted. You should get your GED, or find an accredited program.

The accrediting agency you mention isn’t recognised by the US Department of Education. It’s considered a “diploma mill”.

If you have problems getting in, try finding a community college that will give you your GED after you complete certain, set courses. Usually, it’s a series of 24 credits, and once you complete them, they give you your GED, and then you can move on to complete your Associates. The 24 credits do count toward the Associates.

Ask the school you’re looking at if they do something like this. If so, they’ll admit you without the GED/accredited diploma, under something called “Ability to Benefit”. I’ll link to one school near me that does this, so you can get a feel for what you’re asking about.

The school would require you to take certain placement tests so they can see what exact level of classes you need.

Hinds and holmes community college..but ppl will do better just going to get their GED because its hard trying to find a college that accepts those type of diplomas and some colleges do but they want you to been and made a 16 or higher on the ACT.
