I recently just finished the Deadman Wonderland anime and really enjoyed it. Since there hasn’t been any word of a second season or not I’d like to continue the story with the manga. I’ve tried some internet searches but can’t find at what chapter of the manga I should start at that correlates to the 12th/last episode the anime left off at. Could anybody help ^^?
I actually read the manga and although it is different (a few deadmen that are important to the story appear in the first chapters but don’t appear in the anime at all), it mostly stays on course and doesn’t go off into filler, so the story is pretty much the same. A second season may be possible, but can’t say anything for sure yet. Anyway Ep. 12 ends about where chapter 21 ends.

I recently just finished the Deadman Wonderland anime and really enjoyed it. Since there hasn’t been any word of a second season or not I’d like to continue the story with the manga. I’ve tried some internet searches but can’t find at what chapter of the manga I should start at that…
Deadman Wonderland Manga
Well, there might be a season 2 coming out at some point and season 1 ends a little differently, but season 1 ends at around chapter 21. So you should read from chapter 22, but just to let you know some of the characters included in the manga don’t appear in the anime so it may be a bit confusing. The next bit of the story revolves around Ganta’s friendship with a girl he befriended before he entered the G sector and that doesn’t appear in the anime. Hope this helps!

Well, no one knows that for sure because the anime just started, but, since the manga is almost done (only a handful of chapters left), I think the anime will stay faithful to the manga.

I hope there is a second season. I never read the manga and only heard about the show as recommendation from a friend. I liked the anime, but hated the ending (If it is the final end to the anime) If your like me, and there are, after watching the anime, it ends with alot of open-ended plot points.
And when it comes to anime based of manga, or vice versa, I hate when it doesn’t end with resolutions.
Answer 7
I heard that the anime and manga are very different. If I were you (and I might do what you’re doing if there won’t be a season 2 [even though it’s very unlikely]), I would just read the manga from the beginning.
the next chapter is chapter 46
What our team says
The Deadman Wonderland anime ends at chapter 4 of the manga. This chapter is titled “Beyond the Gates of Death.”
In this chapter, the main character, Ganta, is put to the ultimate test. He must enter the Death Room, a room where only the strongest can survive.
Ganta is able to overcome the challenges in the Death Room and make it out alive. However, he is changed by the experience. He is no longer the innocent boy that he once was.
The Deadman Wonderland anime is a great adaptation of the manga. It captures the story and the characters perfectly. If you haven’t seen the anime, I highly recommend checking it out.
Chapter 5: The Ties That Bind
The anime adaptation of Deadman Wonderland ends at chapter 5 of the manga. This is the chapter where Ganta finally learns the truth about Wretched Egg and the death of his parents.
Ganta has been through a lot in the previous four chapters. He was sent to Deadman Wonderland, a prison where inmates are forced to compete in deadly games for the entertainment of the public. Ganta was also wrongly accused of killing his entire class, and has been trying to clear his name ever since.
In chapter 5, Ganta finally comes face to face with Wretched Egg, the real killer of his class. He also learns that Deadman Wonderland is a front for a much more sinister plot.
The manga continues past this point, but the anime does not. The story concludes in chapter 5, leaving many loose ends for readers to speculate about.
Conclusion
The Deadman Wonderland anime ends at chapter 58 of the manga. This means that there is still a lot of story left to be told, and fans of the anime will definitely want to check out the rest of the manga. With that said, the anime does a great job of wrapping up the story so far, and it provides a satisfying conclusion for those who want to finish with just the anime.
