Saltine crackers & water diet?

I was thinking about going on a saltine cracker diet. Which means, only eating saltine crackers & drinking only water. I was planning on doing this for about 4 weeks. How much weight do you think I would lose? If I do this, and cardio excersises?

That is a horribly unhealthy diet. You will become malnourished and lose mostly muscle, even if you exercise. ∠°)

Saltine crackers are a bad idea anyways, cause theyre pure sodium and carbohydrate. If you want to lose weight fast, eat high protein, low fat food. If youre insistent on losing the weight fast, drink lots of water and have 1/4 cup brown rice and 1/2 cup protein two-three times a day. ( soy protein for example is great cause you get like 26 grams of protein for .5 grams of fat.) And you cant just diet and think youll lose that weight, you need to exercise too, and crackers wont give you the energy for it. You might lose weight with just crackers and water, but youll gain it all back after you start eating again. And youll be one of those odd looking people where theyve lost weight but its in weird places. Hope this helps.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

A lot of people with eating disorders do this. If you want an honest answer? if you suddenly do that for the 4 weeks you said, you will lose a lot of weight. I’m trying to recover from my eating disorder. And the most I’ve lost in the shortest period of time is 16 pounds in 2 weeks. It’s not healthy. You’ll feel like crap. And you will, in the end, quite possibly end up with an eating disorder.
Eating disorders aren’t something to be taken lightly, as many people do.It almost always starts out small “oh, I should lose a little bit of weight” then, a few months later you’re eating barely anything, and puking up the little you do it. Then you get horrible pains all over your body and you get frequent headaches and you’re irratated all the time.
Sorry for that little lecture there, but I’m serious. If you want to lose weight, Do it by being healthy. Eat tons of fruit! And exercise. Don’t eat processed crap, and stay away from high-fat foods.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular “fad” diets out there. Go here
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it’s just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it’s a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

you would lose more than weight you would lose energy and become very restless as your body will be in starvation mode, the amount salt in the crackers could possibly cause a spike in your blood pressure. for four weeks with additional exercises your body would not have enough to fuel it. Water is good for you but too much and you end up diluting the electrolytes in your body causing muscle cramps. you could possibly lose about 12lbs maybe, as your diet changes back to normal you will regain that weight and more just tr eating a balance diet and limiting oily foods like anything fried or greasy. add some salads and fruits to your diet instead of prepacked snacks, and stick with baking, roasting or grilling your food.

the truth is that u would lose a lot of weight. however, it is very unhealthy to lose weight like this. try eating a lot of vegetables, fruit, and add some protein and some starchy foods for energy. lay off the sodas, sweet snacks, candies, junk food and you the others. Also, exercise about three to four times per week and when your body gets use to this change then you can exercise some more. stay away from awarding yourself with chocolate and junk food.

bad diet.
it’s basically white flour and salt. Which is a recipe for colon blockage and weight gain. A diet that is lacking in any nutritional value other than carbohydrates.
