How much does a case of beer weigh? (24 12 oz cans)?

I work at a liquor store and my chiropractor told me not to lift anything over 10 lbs. Can I still lift a case of beer?

About 18 lbs., so don’t lift it if your not supposed to pick anything over 10 lbs.

One Case Of Beer

Assume beer weighs the same as water = 8.34 lbs/gallon
There are 128 oz in a gallon
12/128 = 0.094 gallons/can
0.094 gal x 8.34 lb/gal = 0.78 lbs
24 x 0.78 lbs = 18.8 lbs without the container (bottle or can)

12 oz water weighs about, well 12 oz.
So no, a case is over 10 pounds.

Use both hands and you will be ok! Make 2 trips (12 packs) and you will be ok! Its beer, its worth the back pain. Besides after a few those buds you will be ok!

192 oz is 12 pounds, so even without figuring in the weight of the cans and box, you’re already over your limit.

18 lbs

math:
24 / 16oz. cans
24×16=384 oz.
divide 384 oz. by 16 oz. (per lb) =18 lbs.

i came up with 19.68 lps including the cans and packaging so no you can not
