Does the 2006 Chevy Equinox have an auxiliary port in which to plug in an iPod or mp3 player?

My Equinox has the XM/AUX button on the factory stereo, but I have not been able to find the auxiliary port. I have heard mixed reviews and am looking for a definite answer, yes or no? I have heard that the car does not come with a port and I have heard that it is located on the back of the stereo. Does any one know the 100% correct answer? Much appreciated.

I apologize the 2006 Equinox is not equipped with that function. The first year for this function was 2007.
