When you have a number in decimal, the easiest way is to move the decimal to the right twice, and put it over 100. Then multiply the numerator and denominator by a number so that the top and bottom are fractions. Lastly, reduce the fraction.
For this case,
0.333333…
First, move the decimal to the right twice and put it over 100.
=> 33.3333… / 100
Then, multiplying the numerator and denominator by 3 will give
=> 100 / 300
Lastly, reduce the fraction:
=> 100 / 300 = 1/3
So 0.3333… = 1/3
Hope that helped!
